Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and industrious candidates for a Packer position with a Local Manufacturer of Packaging. This position will pay $16.43 per hour, and the hours are a 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule from 6:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M.
Responsibilities
- Package cups, lids, and/or blanks in boxes
- Stack boxes on pallets
- Place boxes on conveyor belt
- Utilize air guns, brooms and tapers
- Inspect products to ensure correct product count and quality
- Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Complies with all Company Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times.
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and carrying 30 lbs.
- Manufacturing experience of 1-2 years, preferred but not required
- Demonstrates well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates organizational skills and highly detail oriented
- Able to work in a fast-pace, multi-task environment
- Able to stand or walk for entire shift, climb stairs
- Able to work in various temperatures and humidity levels
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: hearing protection, safety glasses and foot protection
