Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced candidates for a CNC Machine Operator position with a Local Automotive Parts Manufacturing company located in Clarksville TN. This is a temp-to-hire position with excellent benefits when hired. This position will pay $18.00 per hour, and the hours are M-F from 8:30 P.M.-6:30 A.M. This position will not start until 11/25
Responsibilities
- Observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
- Identifies, troubleshoot, and corrects product defects caused by the machine.
- Performs routine adjustments during the machine run and maintains production throughout the run.
- Sets up and operates machine meeting established published specifications.
- Ensures all orders are completed to specifications including “special instructions” if applicable.
- Identifies and makes basic repairs to the machine.
- Ensures Operation of the machine and related equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements according to operational standards.
- Runs the machine meeting production goals.
- Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Complies with all IP’s Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times.
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
- They manufacture automotive components such as chassis, sub frames, powertrains out of magnesium
operate CNC machine, secondary equipment, wash, inspect, and pack parts in accordance with quality specifications. Train other team members in cell expectations
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
- Capable of repetitive physical movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching
- Capable of standing on concrete for long periods of time
- Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
