Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and diligent candidates for a Semi-Automatic Machine Operator position with an International Leading Manufacturing Company. This is a temp to hire position and will pay $15.25 / hour and the hours are M-F from 2:45 P.M.- 11:00 P.M.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately set up semi-automatic machines to start a production cycle.
- Control and adjust settings of semi-automatic machines
- Feed raw material or parts into semi-automatic machines
- Carefully inspect parts for approval
- Accurately keep records of approved and defective units
- Utilize a hand grinder
- Adhere closely to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of standing/walking on a concrete surface for the entire shift
- Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
- Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots, and Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear
