Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced candidates for a Flexographic Machine Operator position with a Local Manufacturer of Packaging. This position will pay $20 - $22 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Operate flexographic corrugated conversion machines, die cutters and folder gluers
- Understand order specs, input them into machine, apply the proper print plates, cutting dies, and ink colors, dial in and run orders
- Troubleshoot problems along the way
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Able to lift 25 lbs.
- Must have Flexographic Operator experience with corrugated conversion machines
- Operate Forklift (Certified is preferred)
- Able to utilize Math skills to read fractions, take measurements, read tape measure
- Must be able to lead a crew of 4. Preform quality checks and ensure the crew follows proper unitizing procedures
- Must understand basic manufacturing principles of eliminating waste
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE
