Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced candidates for a Forklift Operator position with a Local Ceramic Tile Manufacturing Plant. This is a temp to hire position will pay $13.00 / hour, and the hours are Monday-Friday from 9:45 P.M.-6:00 A.M.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks in Shipping/Receiving and transport material to lines in a timely manner so lines do not run out of product
- Empty lines' cardboard hoppers and replace with empty ones
- Empty cardboard from hoppers into cardboard bailer
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must have previous forklift experience
- Must have Shipping/Receiving experience
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
- Capable of repetitive physical movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching
- Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
