Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and efficient candidates for a Brazer position with a Fast-Growing Tubing Manufacturer. This position will pay $18.00 per hour, and the hours are M-F from 2:30 P.M.-11:00 P.M. If overtime is needed, you are required to work until 1AM
Responsibilities:
- Review work instructions and check all preceding process steps have been completed
- Select appropriate braze fixture specific to the part to be brazed and set up work station according to sheet
- Select torch tips, flux, brazing alloy and any additional components to be used in braze process, and assemble parts to be brazed on fixture
- Start machine and adjust valves necessary to obtain desired results
- Utilize pliers or clamp for handling hot parts
- Braze work pieces together using torch and brazing rod
- Participate in quality control checks of products
- Examine product and re-braze defective parts as needed
- Complete information for braze operation
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
- Available to work overtime when needed
- Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Demonstrates the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence
- Posses the ability to apply basic math functions utilizing a tape measure
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
- Capable of standing on concrete for the entire shift
- Capable of working in a temperature controlled environment
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Brazing glasses, Gloves, and Guards
