Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and efficient candidates for a Leach Purification Production Operator position with a Leading Zinc Refinery. This position will pay $18.00 per hour, and it is a 12-hour rotating shift with overtime welcomed. Manufacturing Experience is required, and Forklift and/or Loader experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Take tank chemical readings
- Clean parts and put back together
- Operate cranes, loaders, dump trucks and other heavy equipment
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience required, and forklift and/or loader experience is a plus
- Possess basic Math skills
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Must be physically able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Capable of working in a hot, dirty and dusty environment
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
- Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts and overtime
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steeled toed shoes/boots, and Safety Eyewear
