Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and industrious candidates for a Block Machine Operator position with a Local Masonry Distributor located in Clarksville TN. This position will pay $18.00 per hour while training on 1st shift for 1-3 months on Monday-Friday, Saturdays as needed. Hours are 6AM-4PM but as late as 6pm while training on 1st shift. 2nd shift hours will then be 4pm - 2am but as late as 4am as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate a robotic machine
- Monitor quality and make adjustments through computer as well as mechanical adjustments
- Fix any minor mechanical issues
- Utilize machine to run as efficient as possible
- "Dryside"- package and process product
- Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Complies with all IP’s Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Possess basic computer knowledge
- Has previous machine operator experience
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
- Capable of repetitive physical movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching
- Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
