Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking experienced and reliable candidates for a Quality Inspector position with a Metal and Plastic Manufacturing Facility. This position will pay between $18 -$23 per hour, and the hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 A.M.-3:30 P.M.
Responsibilities:
- Performs various sorting, inspection, production, and data entry of parts
- Reads and follows work instructions, work rules, and directions
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of work area
- Uses inspection, measuring, and test equipment as required
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
- Follows all employee policies and other duties as assigned by the Company
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must have previous experience with Micrometers, Calipers & CMM (Calcium-Carbide measuring)
- Must have 1 year Machine Experience
- Must have computer experience- will need to read/compose emails and create spreadsheets
- Has previous experience with a quality certification process (ISO 2015) without design certified
- Possess strong organizational skills
- A strong communicator and self starter
- Capable of working in a non-temperature-controlled environment
- Capable of repetitive physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting
- Capable of standing on concrete for long periods of time
