Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a full-time Welder in Portland, TN for 1st Shift – 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. Pay Rate depending on experience.00. Interested candidates should have one year of Welding experience. The position is Evaluation Hire.
Responsibilities of the Welder:
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Install and repair various equipment and components
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Requirements of the Welder:
- Previous welding experience
- Read blueprints
- Operate a tow motor
- Handle physical workload
Physical Requirements of the Welder:
- Lift 50 pounds
- Stand, bend, squat, and twist up to 10 hours
