Position Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking General Laborers to join a leading company in the galvanizing industry. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operations within the galvanizing facility, ensuring efficient production and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and handling of materials for the galvanizing process.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the galvanizing process, including furnaces and coating machines.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Load and unload materials, including moving and stacking items as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and address any issues.
- Working with heavy steel, hanging wires, cutting, grinding, and cleaning the steel.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
