Position Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage the flow of products and materials into and out of a dynamic facility. This role is essential for maintaining efficient inventory management and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments, including verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of products.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers to schedule and track shipments.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on shipping and receiving equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and manage inventory with precision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with vendors, customers, and team members.
