Position: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Elizabethton
Hours: Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (48-hour work week)
About the Job:
We're looking for hard-working, reliable individuals to join our team in a temp-to-hire position that offers great opportunities for growth. You'll be trained on a sit-down forklift and cross-trained in various roles, including machine maintenance and cleaning tasks. If you're mechanically inclined or have experience with CNC machinery, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain fluid levels in machinery.
- Add the correct fluids and lubricants as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance, such as cleaning sump screens and changing filters.
- Lift up to 50 lbs on occasion and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Use a personal cell phone app to track and record data.
- Ensure safety and efficiency in your work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (experience can substitute).
- Strong work ethic and a mechanical background preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Steel-toe shoes required for interviews and on the job.
