Job Full Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Overhead Garage Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead garage doors. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead garage doors and openers in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform site assessments to determine the best installation methods and ensure proper door sizing and function.
- Accurately measure and install new doors, ensuring alignment, smooth operation, and safety.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing garage doors, providing timely repairs and solutions.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding services, recommendations, and necessary repairs.
- Safely handle and install various garage door components, including springs, cables, and motors.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a focus on professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of service work, including parts used, time spent, and customer feedback.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience installing and repairing overhead garage doors.
- Strong knowledge of overhead door systems, openers, and their components.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
