Customer Service Representative – Accounts Receivable & QuickBooks
Location: Erwin, TN
Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative with a strong background in accounts receivable and QuickBooks to join our team in Erwin, TN. This role is responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records within QuickBooks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable Management:

    • Process and monitor customer accounts, ensuring all payments are collected and recorded accurately.
    • Follow up on overdue invoices and work with customers to resolve payment issues.
    • Prepare and send billing statements and reminders.
    • Assist customers with understanding their invoices and payment schedules.
  • QuickBooks Management:

    • Enter customer transactions in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure up-to-date financial records.
    • Generate accounts receivable and aging reports for internal review.
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure smooth operations and proper documentation.
  • Customer Service:

    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional and timely manner.
    • Resolve billing issues, payment disputes, and other customer concerns efficiently.
    • Provide excellent customer service by offering support and guidance on payment options and account balances.
  • Other Duties:

    • Update and maintain accurate customer information and account records.
    • Assist with the monthly and year-end accounting closing process.
    • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, with an emphasis on accounts receivable or billing.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and general accounting software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in accounting or business is a plus.
