Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local CDL Class A Non-Restricted Delivery Driver to join our team in Blountville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various destinations within the local area, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A CDL vehicle to deliver goods to assigned local destinations.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
- Handle delivery paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and other necessary documentation.
- Assist with unloading cargo at delivery locations.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to the safe operation of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing courteous and professional service at all delivery locations.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A driver’s license with no restrictions.
- Proven experience as a CDL Class A driver with a clean driving record.
