Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals Memphis, TN is hiring for a Data Entry Representative in Memphis, TN surrounding areas. In this position you will work closely with other office personnel as well as plant personnel to ensure that customers receive top notch service, that plant processes are followed and that transactions are recorded properly and on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Take calls from customers and greet walk-in customers
- Process customer sales orders-from taking initial order to recording the delivery or fulfillment
- Assist with managing plant inventory of resell items
- Maintain housekeeping in the showroom
- Follow up with customers regarding past due invoices
- Record various plant activity-process purchase order, record raw material receipts, record production, record physical inventory counts and more
- Make outbound calls to notify customers of promotions
- Support the sales team with analysis and reports
- Other general administrative assistance as needed
- Maintain and mange vendor relations
- Support all company operations
Minimum Required Education & Experience
- Requires a high school degree, or equivalent.
- Requires 1 year of customer service experience,
- An equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training will be considered.
- Must have the ability to learn basic computer skills including the Microsoft Office products including, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must have basic Math skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing
