Job Full Description
JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a reliable delivery driver who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The delivery driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. The delivery driver will also be driving a 26 ft. box truck and using sit down forklift for loading and unloading of trucks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for loading and unloading trucks utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Be able to lift and move minimum of 50 lbs.
- Work warehouse as directed.
- Ability to handle minor paperwork activities.
- Fill out route log sheets, fleet inspection reports.
- Basic computer/Data entry skills.
- Organize route orders and paperwork to efficiently plan delivery & pickup tasks.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- License Requirement: Class F Endorsement or CDL.
- Forklift knowledge & operation.
- Ability to operate up to 26,000 straight truck.
