Job Description:
As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and phone inquiries. In addition to handling receptionist duties, you will assist our sales team with administrative tasks and support inside sales efforts. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors, customers, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, providing information and assistance as needed
- Manage and maintain office reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, data entry, and filing
- Support inside sales team with order processing, quote generation, and customer follow-ups
- Coordinate deliveries, shipments, and inventory requests
- Handle customer inquiries and provide product information when needed
- Assist in maintaining customer records and updating databases
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bonus: Previous sales experience in an industrial or supply-related field is a plus
