Payroll Processing:
Manage full-cycle payroll for W-2 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

Tax Reporting & Compliance:
Handle all payroll tax submissions, including federal, state, and local filings. Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly and annual tax reports (e.g., 941s, W-2s, etc.).

Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans. Track enrollments, changes, and terminations.

401(k) Contributions:
Oversee 401(k) deferrals and employer contributions, process uploads to provider, and ensure compliance with plan requirements.

Workers' Compensation:
File and manage workers' compensation claims. Act as the point of contact with insurance carriers and follow up on open claims.

Employee Onboarding (Payroll-Specific):
Set up new employees in payroll and benefits systems. Collect and verify all required tax and employment forms (e.g., W-4, I-9).

Accounting Support:
Assist with payroll-related journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end reporting as needed.

Documentation & Recordkeeping:
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, audit reports, and employee compensation files.

2+ years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, or accounting

Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and multi-state payroll practices

Experience working with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Gusto, QuickBooks, etc.)

Understanding of W-2 processing and year-end reporting requirements

Familiarity with 401(k) plan administration and workers’ compensation processes

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
