Job Overview:


We’re seeking a skilled Windows Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at a dynamic call center environment. This role is essential to ensuring our team can work effectively and efficiently by providing quick and comprehensive support for any technical issues to internal staff members. You will work with end-users to resolve desktop and software issues, manage system upgrades, and ensure optimal performance of hardware and software.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows desktops, laptops, and related systems in a call center environment.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, both on-site and remotely.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and applications.
  • Coordinate with IT team members to support system upgrades, patches, and hardware replacements.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventories and update asset management records.
  • Ensure data security by applying antivirus software, updating patches, and following security protocols.
  • Document support activities, issues, and resolutions in the helpdesk system.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Windows desktop support, preferably in a high-paced call center or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues on Windows 10 and 11.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, remote desktop support tools, and basic networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with users and team members.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or similar.
  • Experience with call center software or telephony systems.
