Position: Return Product/Warehouse Floater
Pay: $17 hourly
Location: Mansfield, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift (8am-5pm)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to join our team as a Return Product / Warehouse Floater. This role is essential in supporting various operational functions within our Returns Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including equipment operation, testing electronic items, and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate job-related equipment such as forklifts, hand power tools, and pallet jacks (for candidates with experience; training provided for those willing to learn).
- Test electronic items in a workshop/lab environment to ensure functionality.
- Conduct accuracy tests on meters.
- Safely move and lift products as needed.
- Stand for extended periods while performing various tasks.
- Inspect, evaluate, and repair items in line with department standards.
- Adhere to safety precautions related to all aspects of work performed.
- Assist in inventory control and tracking.
Skills and Prerequisites:
- Familiarity with common hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management practices.
- Proficient computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in product counts.
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and shifts as required.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Reliability with consistent good attendance is essential.
