Job Title: Warehouse Order Selector
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Salary: $19-25/hour DOE including job longevity and stability
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, very minimal overtime
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sit-down Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in order selecting, material handling, particularly with sit-down tow motors, and will possess the skills necessary to operate various equipment in a warehouse environment. If you have a proven track record of job longevity, experience with containers receiving, and the ability to navigate high bay pallet racking, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Utilize reach trucks for high bay pallet racking to move and store products as needed.
- Conduct small picking tasks using walkie riders or cherry pickers to fulfill customer orders.
- Manage the receiving of containers, ensuring timely and accurate unloading and processing of shipments.
- Maintain and organize inventory and warehouse space to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure prompt and accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience operating reach trucks in high bay pallet racking environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with small picking processes using walkie riders or cherry pickers.
- Proven history of longevity in previous employment positions, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Experience with container receiving practices and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 120lbs, as required by the job.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience, including sit down and reach truck.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
