Job Full Description
Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Metal Polisher/Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the metal finishing industry and possess excellent attention to detail. You will be responsible for polishing, buffing, and finishing metal parts to achieve a high-quality shine and smooth surface finish while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:

Finish stainless steel and aluminum to specified surface finishes (#8, #4, brush/satin, polish).

Review blueprints and ensure product specifications are met.

Use grinding, polishing, and sandblasting techniques to prepare metal surfaces.

Inspect using tools like micrometers and calipers for dimensional accuracy and quality.

Document and log finished products, maintaining organized records.

Cross-train in various production tasks and adhere to safety protocols.
Required Skills/Experience:

5+ years in architectural metal finishing and polishing.

Ability to read and verify blueprints.

Knowledge of working with stainless steel and aluminum.

Strong attention to detail and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Forklift certification is a plus.

Team-oriented with a commitment to safety.
Notes: This role focuses on ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications in metal components for architectural applications.
Expected Salary: Flexible, depending on experience, up to $27/hr
Work Hours: 6am-4:30pm M-Th
