Job Title: Construction Foreman

Location: South ATX
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Occasional Overtime Required)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and manage construction projects on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities, supervising crews, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring that work is completed in compliance with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are executed on time and within budget. Attend regular project meetings.

  •  Implement and enforce all safety policies and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.

  • Monitor work progress, quality, and workmanship. Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with project specifications and local building codes.

  • Develop daily schedules for project activities to ensure operational efficiency. Manage job site logistics and resource allocation.

  • Order and manage materials and equipment required for the project, ensuring that they are delivered in a timely manner.

  • Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, including unforeseen challenges.

  • Maintain accurate records of daily project activities, worker attendance, safety incidents, and equipment usage. Provide reports to project management as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
  • OSHA certification and first aid training are preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment as necessary.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
