Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license required for recruitment/outreach activities in agency vehicles.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to starting employment.
Travel:
- Willingness to attend training sessions, including out-of-town, evening, and weekend training.
Essential Duties:
- Assist Field Tech Lead in assessments, inspections, audits, and work write-ups.
- Manage scheduling, surveying, and pre-assessment preparations.
- Support other staff with paperwork as time allows.
- Review income documentation, assessment information, and audits before assigning work to contractors.
- Maintain positive working relations with contractors.
- Train field tech assistants.
- Ensure all equipment is in the truck and in operational condition.
- Maintain records of client product disbursement when necessary.
- Collaborate with the CEAP department on assessments as the schedule allows.
- Maintain proficiency in Department of Labor (DOE) guidelines.
Work Environment:
- Perform work inside and outside in various settings, including office, client homes, and community environments.
- Engage in verbal and face-to-face contact with the community, clients, and other staff members.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional bending, stooping, or lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Travel and visit various residences/family homes in assigned areas of the county.
- Regular repetitive motion with hands for computer keyboarding, phone use, and filing.
- Regular sitting, working at a computer keyboard and desk, standing to file miscellaneous documents.
