Job Title: General Laborer – Heavy Equipment Yard Cleanup
Location: Vidor, TX
Job Type: Full-time / Temporary
Salary: $15 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm
Job Description:
We are looking for a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to assist with cleanup and maintenance in our heavy equipment yard. This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical labor, including lifting, cleaning, and organizing materials.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleanup of the yard, including removing debris and trash.
- Assist with organizing tools, parts, and equipment.
- Power wash and clean heavy machinery and vehicles.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards.
- Assist mechanics and operators with tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
- Experience in a construction or equipment yard is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on various tasks.
- Steel toe boots, safety glasses, safety gloves.
