Position: Assistant Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified) Job Type: Full-time, On Call Schedule
Responsibilities:
Assist with maintenance and repair tasks, with a focus on HVAC systems.
Help diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC-related service calls.
Support apartment make-ready processes and minor repairs.
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
Ensure common areas remain clean and functional.
Report any major issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Assist in emergency repairs and participate in on-call duties (if applicable).
Requirements:
EPA Universal or Type II/Type III HVAC Certification required
Previous maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Ability to work in various conditions (indoor, outdoor, hot/cold).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
