Job Full Description
Are you a hands-on learner with experience in machine shop environments? We're looking for a motivated and reliable Machine Shop Helper / Laborer to join our team! Ideal candidates will have experience with water jet machines, be comfortable using tools and equipment, and have strong measuring and reading skills.
What You'll Be Doing:

Assist with machine shop operations including setup, maintenance, and clean-up

Operate or assist with water jet cutting equipment

Load and unload materials and parts

Measure and inspect parts with accuracy using standard measuring tools

Follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Support machinists and technicians as needed
What We're Looking For:

Experience with water jet machines is a plus

Comfortable working with various machines and equipment

Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and basic shop drawings

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job

Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
