Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Certified Rigger with current ISTC certification to join our operations a local plant in Orange, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely rigging and moving heavy loads, working closely with crane operators and other site personnel to ensure efficient and secure handling of materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Rig, lift, move, and position heavy loads in accordance with safety regulations.

Inspect rigging gear and equipment daily for wear and compliance.

Communicate clearly with crane operators and crew to ensure coordinated lifts.

Follow all plant and OSHA safety procedures and policies.

Maintain accurate records of lifts and inspections.
-
Assist with other duties as assigned by site supervisors.
Requirements:
-
Current ISTC Certification (Industrial Safety Training Council) – Required
-
Rigger Certification (NCCER, OSHA, or equivalent) – Required
-
Familiarity with cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, and other rigging equipment
-
Ability to read and interpret lift plans and load charts
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Additional safety or rigging-related certifications
-
Experience in petrochemical or heavy industrial settings
-
Knowledge of load testing and signal operations
