Express Employment Professionals is a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas to provide full-time, part-time, and temporary placements. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
Position: Shipping/Receiving
Responsibilities:
- Manage loading tasks on the platform, including positioning pole products on flatbed trailers.
- Use wood dunnage to stabilize and secure pole products during loading.
- Operate a pneumatic nail gun and a table saw for cutting wood dunnage.
- Operate forklifts and straddle buggies to transport products to the shipping bay.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, painting, and operating a powered sweeper.
- Accurately complete and manage shipping papers and records.
Qualifications:
- Experience with loading techniques and the use of wood dunnage.
- Ability to operate a pneumatic nail gun and a table saw.
- Skilled in operating forklifts and straddle buggies (certification preferred).
- Knowledge of general housekeeping practices and basic maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
