A local company in Conroe, TX is searching for a batch maker helper to assist in the company’s daily operations. This is a temp-hire position in a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mixing chemicals. Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing raw materials to create high-quality production batches according to precise specifications.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Prepare and measure raw materials using scale equipment with a high degree of accuracy
- Lift and handle bags and small drums of materials (up to 50 lbs) safely and efficiently
- Set controls and operate machinery for the preparation of production batches
- Process chemicals according to manufacturing specifications for each batch
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or chemical processing preferred
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and recipes
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
