CNC Machinist/Programmer $25.00-$32.00/Hr DOE
A local company in Conroe, TX is searching for a CNC Machinist/Programmer to assist in the company’s daily operations. This is a temp-hire position in a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC. Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our growing team in our modern, climate-controlled facility.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Program and operate CNC machines
- Create/modify CAM programs using Mastercam
- Perform setup, tooling selection and maintenance
- Quality control and process optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Proficiency in Mastercam or similar CAM software
- Strong G-code and CNC operation knowledge
- Manual lathe/mill operation experience
- Knowledge of Renishaw probes
- Understanding of machine alignments
- Experience with laser marking systems
- Hydraulic/pneumatic parts finishing knowledge
Requirements:
- 2+ years CNC programming experience
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with flexible scheduling
