Fleet Maintenance Technician- $18.00- $21.00 DOE
A local company in Conroe, TX is searching for a fleet maintenance technician to assist in the company’s daily operations. This is a temp-hire position in a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in car/diesel mechanics. Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform comprehensive mechanical repairs and maintenance on our equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diesel and automotive mechanics, with a strong focus on critical system repairs and maintenance.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including alternators
- Mount and service fuel tanks with precision and attention to detail
- Install, repair, and maintain exhaust systems
- Select and maintain special machine tools (drills, jigs, mills, lathes, fixtures)
Requirements:
- Experience in diesel and automotive mechanics
- Experience with electrical systems and alternator diagnostics
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
