Payroll Specialist II Hybrid (Dallas, TX) Position - Will be Hybrid – 3 days in office 2 days remote Core Business Hours CST (8 am – 5 pm)

Key Requirements – Must Have’s! • In-depth Knowledge of California Payroll Laws: Strong understanding of compliance regulations, including meal and rest break policies, wage and hour laws, and other pertinent state-specific requirements. • Experience with Multi-State Payroll: Proven ability to manage payroll across multiple states effectively. • Proficiency in ADP Systems: Familiarity with ADP Enterprise V6 and ADP E-Time V8 for timekeeping. • Technical Skills: Competence in Microsoft Outlook and intermediate Excel skills, including the use of VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other advanced functions. • Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and HR leaders. • Positive Attitude: A proactive, "can-do" mindset that fosters teamwork and adaptability. • Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, particularly during payroll processing periods. • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to take direction and work harmoniously with other departments.
Essential Responsibilities
•Process payroll to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines in order to meet and maintain payroll schedule while maintaining and processing payroll for your assigned group of employees. •Assist in all payroll functions to ensure we are adhering to People Care Center Model and SLA’s are being met. •Using the JIRA Ticketing System for your assigned group of employees ensure the highest quality answers and responses are given to our employees. •Ensures internal controls are maintained as it relates to HR/payroll employee master records and employee time files, and that these controls are maintained and monitored on a continuing basis, whether internally-initiated or payroll vendor-initiated. •Responsible for payroll processing at the appropriate time in accordance with the internal production schedule. •Researches, investigates and reports all problems, corrections, and changes related to payroll, time and attendance and payroll general ledger modules to the Payroll Manager promptly and in a timely manner.

Qualifications: •College degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent training and experience in computerized payroll function • 5+ years of payroll experience • Effective communication skills • ADP EV6, ADP -Etime V8 • Excellent organizational and planning skills • Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to Detail • Vendor management skills • Above average computer literacy, e.g. Excel, Word, and various ADP applications
Skills, Knowledge, and Education Required • High school diploma required • Associate or Bachelors degree, preferred • Minimum of five years experience in the payroll field required
• Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy. • Requires the ability to exhibit a positive, friendly, responsive, customer service orientation with employees of all levels. • Must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, dead-line driven environment. • Requires strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills required. • Must have the ability to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, inventory software, internet software and order processing systems.
