Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Compensation Analyst for one of our clients. Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, communication and administration of base pay, variable pay and incentive compensation programs. Analyzes jobs, job levels, job families, job grades and compensation structures to ensure internal equity and alignment. Supports the administration of monthly, quarterly and annual incentive plans. Participates in the annual merit and bonus planning processes. Supports the administration of Service Awards.

Hybrid – In Office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays

TEMP - 3 MONTHS

Hours: 8 am - 5 pm

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Compensation (Jobs, Pay Ranges, Incentive Plans, Administration) - Strong analytical skills;
  • Strong Communication skills;
  • Ability to Problem Solve and Strong Excel Skills (Pivots, Advanced Formulas and VLookups)

Duties

  • Partners with Business Leaders, Finance and HR on the compensation strategy, design,

communication and implementation processes

  • Evaluates and analyzes job and compensation data to ensure market competitiveness and

internal equity

  • Manage the creation, distribution and recordkeeping of employee compensation change and

incentive plan documents

  • Manage the review and routing of employee job and compensation workflows and ensure

accuracy

  • Develops, enhances and maintains compensation infrastructure to include job codes, job families,

salary structure and pay guidelines

  • Serves as subject matter expert providing guidance to HR leaders and business leaders on

compensation matters

  • Utilizes data and analytical insights to assess performance and cost effectiveness of

compensation programs

  • Administers variable pay and sales compensation plans on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Provide analysis of compensation programs to ensure compliance to state and federal legislation

such as FLSA

  • Participates in the annual merit and bonus planning processes
  • Prepares compensation plan documents, policies and guidelines for base pay, variable pay, sales

commission, and bonus programs

  • Completes annual compensation surveys
  • Creates or modifies job descriptions
  • Participates in complex compensation related projects
  • Supports the administration of Service Awards

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Compensation, HR, Finance or related field.
  • Experience in base wage and salary administration programs to include market pricing jobs with

an understanding of salary bands, merit and performance management programs.

  • Experience in sales compensation to include design, communication, implementation and

administration.

  • Proficiency in compensation, variable pay, commission, and HRIS systems; experience with

Xactly, SuccessFactors, ADP and PayFactors systems are a plus

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros) for data review and analysis

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP, CPP, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) are advantageous

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to generate and

deliver presentations and create complex plan / policy documents

  • Proven analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with discretion
  • Strong knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, payroll processes, and

relevant legislation (e.g., FLSA, ERISA)

  • Proficient in HRIS and data analysis tools; advanced Excel skills required
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects
