Job Full Description
Custom cable assembly company is seeking experienced machine operators to begin a new career producing custom cables for municipalities and the defense industry.
Machine Operator Job Duties:
*Set up and operate a variety of machines such as extruders, braiders, stripers, bunchers, plantetary, respoolers and twinners.
*Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
*Trouble shoot process problems and correct
*Identify part numbers and follow production documentation.
Machine Operator Job Requirements:
*Strong math skills including fractions
*2-3 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
*Must be able to use precision measuring tools (micrometers , calipers)
*Must visually differentiate between colors
*Must be able to lift 80 lbs
*Strong written and verbal communications skills
*Stable and consistent work history required
