Express Employment has teamed up with a Fort Worth office seeking a dedicated AR/ Collections Specialist to join their accounting team.
The Collections Specialist will work collaboratively with the accounting team to effectively managing and coordinate the collection of outstanding accounts.
Collection Responsibilities:
- Contact clients to collect outstanding payments and resolve overdue accounts.
- Provide customer service by processing customer payments, adjustments, refunds, and resolving discrepancies
- Analyze and review delinquent accounts to develop appropriate collection strategies and action plans.
- Provide regular updates on collection activities and account statuses to management.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role in a financial or customer service setting.
- Accounts Payable or Receivable experience
- 1+ year B2B collections required
- Strong understanding of collections principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
