Job Full Description
A wrecker service in Haltom City is hiring a weekend dispatcher.
Pay: $18-20/hr, depending on experience
Shifts:
8am-6pm Friday - Monday
Duties:
- Efficiently manage incoming service requests for vehicle towing and roadside assistance.
- Dispatch tow trucks to designated locations based on priority, proximity, and service requirements.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely response and resolution of service calls.
- Communicate with customers to gather essential information, provide updates, and address inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, including customer details, service provided, and timeframes.
- Monitor and prioritize calls based on urgency, safety considerations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other dispatchers and team members to optimize service coverage and response times.
- Utilize dispatching software and communication tools to streamline operations.
- Stay informed about traffic conditions, road closures, and other factors affecting service delivery.
- Assist in resolving operational challenges and provide support to drivers as needed.
Requirements:
- Accurate and efficient typing and data entry skills
- 45+wpm
- Customer service experience
- Call center experience is a plus.
