Job Full Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Freight Coordinator to join a manufacturing team in Fort Worth, TX. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, managing freight costs, and working closely with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in LTL, logistics, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate freight shipments for Flatbeds and LTL
- Schedule and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any transportation issues
- Communicate with carriers
- Assist in freight invoices
- Prepare and maintain documentation and paperwork
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and vendor performance.
- Utilize ERP software to manage logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in freight coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent Communication skills
