**Job Title:** Audio/Video Installation Technician
**Pay Rate:** $25/hr
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, some weekends required, 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM (overnight shift)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Audio/Video Installation Technician to join our team, responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of audio and video cabling systems in a variety of settings. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on overnight shifts.
**Responsibilities:**
- Install, route, and terminate audio and video cables, including HDMI, coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optics.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure cable connections and audio/video components are functioning correctly.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and installation diagrams for proper setup.
- Work closely with clients and team members to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in good condition, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Document completed installations and provide reports on any issues or adjustments needed.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in audio and video cable installation or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of audio and video components, including connectors, cabling types, and termination techniques.
- Ability to lift and handle equipment as required and work in various installation environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision.
