Express Employment Garland has partnered with a company in Garland, TX to actively recruit an Operations Clerk to join their team.


Position Overview:
We are seeking an operations clerk responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations at the HVAC company. This role involves administrative tasks, data entry, customer service, and coordination with technicians and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:

    • Assist in daily office operations and maintain organized records.
    • Manage scheduling of appointments and technician dispatch.

  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:

    • Input and update customer information and service records into the database.
    • Maintain detailed logs of work orders, invoices, and service reports.

  • Customer Service:

    • Assist customers with inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
    • Resolve issues or concerns and provide information about services and products.

  • Coordination and Communication:

    • Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure timely service delivery.
    • Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding orders and equipment.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Track inventory levels of HVAC parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
    • Ensure the warehouse and stockroom are organized and maintained.

  • Reporting:

    • Generate reports on service activities, customer feedback, and operational efficiency. 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus.

Previous experience in an administrative or operations role, preferably in the HVAC or construction industry.

Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database management. Assist in analyzing workflow processes for continuous improvement.

Skills:

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and terminology is an advantage.

Located in: Garland, TX

Schedule: Monday-Friday/7-8 AM to 3:30 PM 

Pay: $21-28 /hr.  (Depending on experience and industry knowledge)
