Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in managing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate payments, and keeping our financial operations running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who loves numbers, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to take on diverse tasks in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management and Invoice Processing

  • Process and post vendor invoices, with construction invoices routed through our specialized program and service invoices entered directly into Accounts Payable
  • Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Set up new vendors in our accounting software for seamless transactions

• Payments and Reimbursements

  • Review employee reimbursements and issue manual checks as needed
  • Enter AP ACHs (automated clearing house payments) directly into the accounting system
  • Process manual checks for utility payments

• Expense Tracking

  • Assist in coding company credit card expenses and accurately enter these transactions
  • Maintain organization and consistency within the accounts payable inbox to support efficient operations

What You’ll Bring

• A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience with accounts payable or a similar role in finance or accounting
• Proficiency with accounting software and a commitment to accuracy
