Job Full Description
Position Summary: We are seeking an experience Heat Treat Operator to join our team and commit to delivery high-quality products. The Heat Treat Operator is responsible for setting up and operating various heat treat equipment to process metal components. The role requires understanding of heat treat techniques, attention to detail and strong adherence to safety and quality standards.
Bilingual English/Spanish Is Preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor heat treatment furnaces, ovens, and other equipment to heat and treat metal parts according to specifications.
- Set and adjust equipment controls to achieve desired temperatures and treatment cycles.
- Inspect and measure treated parts to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of heat treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document heat treatment processes, including temperature logs, treatment times, and equipment settings.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to equipment or processes
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in heat treatment or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Heat Treat Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
