Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders to fabricate metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure precise measurements.
• Perform precision cutting, drilling, tapping, and turning operations.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and ensure all parts meet required tolerances.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machines to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of manual lathe and milling machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements.
• Understanding of cutting speeds, feeds, and material properties.
• Reliability – showing up on time and ready to work is a must!
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Pay Rate and Hours

• Pay: $25.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM (occasional overtime available).
