Shipping Coordinator
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to manage the coordination and execution of shipments for our company. The ideal candidate will oversee the shipping and receiving process, ensure timely delivery of products, track inventory, and maintain accurate shipping records. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate the scheduling of outgoing shipments and ensure all products are shipped on time.

Prepare shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.

Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to confirm shipping details and resolve any issues.

Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays or discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries.

Verify that products are packed correctly and securely to avoid damage during transport.

Process returns and handle customer inquiries regarding shipping statuses.

Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and organization of products awaiting shipment.

Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.

Manage and update the shipping schedule to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:

Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in shipping software and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
