Heavy Equipment Technician/ Lube Technician
$25- $30 per hour
Position Overview: Seeking a skilled Lube Technician to perform preventive maintenance services on heavy equipment and machinery. This position requires hands-on experience with construction and mining equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of equipment components on various heavy equipment.
- Inspect equipment for worn or damaged parts, hydraulic leaks, and other potential issues
- Complete detailed maintenance records and service documentation
- Maintain proper fluid levels and conduct basic diagnostic tests
- Clean and organize work areas, tools, and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in equipment maintenance or related field
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate basic maintenance equipment
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow maintenance schedules
