Forklift Operator
We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our growing flooring company. This position involves operating a forklift to move and manage inventory, performing general labor duties, and handling flooring materials. The ideal candidate will have proven forklift experience and the potential to grow into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to transport, load, and unload flooring materials
- Move and organize boxes of flooring products in our warehouse
- Perform general labor tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
- Previous forklift operation experience (required)
- Valid forklift certification (preferred)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to work location
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
