Software Specialist 

 

Pay: 20.00/hr to 25.00/hr (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM 

Location: Jersey Village, Texas 

 

Job Overview: 

 

We are seeking a dedicated Software Specialist to join our team and become an expert in a suite of software platforms. This role involves mastering the functionalities of each platform, providing technical support, training staff, and ensuring seamless integration and optimization across the company. 

 

Software Functionalities 

 

  • Surveillance Management System: Develop expertise in the centralized management of surveillance systems, including troubleshooting connectivity, video quality, and storage issues. Regularly update the system, perform diagnostics, and adjust configurations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Cloud-Based Network Management: Become proficient in managing network devices remotely, utilizing features like bulk configuration, real-time monitoring, and reporting to streamline network operations.
  • AI Driven Surveillance Monitoring: Develop expertise in an AI-powered system for automating camera health checks, such as alignment, obstruction detection, and focus issues. Generate automated alerts and reports to address maintenance needs proactively. AI-Driven monitoring experience for critical central station efficiencies.

Documentation Reporting 

 

  • Maintaining detailed records of software configurations, resolutions and updates 
  • Prepare regular reports on software usage, performance metrics, and area's for improvement 

 

Training and Knowledge Sharing 

  • Develop and deliver training sessions on the effective use of each software
  • Create user manuals, FAQs, and other documentation to support staff in utilizing software

Software Support Troubleshooting 

 

  • Provide technical assistance for all listed software platforms, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure software configurations align with organizational needs

Software Implementation Optimization 

 

  • Lead the integration of new software features, ensuring compatibility and minimal
  • Analyze software performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
