IRVING COMPANY HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
M-F 8AM-5PM $20.00
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in time management, communication, and problem-solving while maintaining a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires the ability to address challenges head-on, even in the absence of immediate solutions.
This is an on-site position requiring active engagement with customer accounts, handling all aspects related to their inventory and ensuring seamless service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing clear, concise, and professional communication via email, phone, and other channels
- Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing, status updates on orders and shipments, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Work with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating when necessary, and work collaboratively to implement solutions
- Anticipate customer needs and potential issues, taking ownership of tasks and delivering solutions efficiently
- Data entry in various platforms
Qualifications
- At least 1 - 3 years' of relevant work experience, preferably within the logistics, fulfillment, or 3PL industry
- Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
